Before writing this post I looked at many of the websites that have inspired me in the past. One in particular that I enjoy is the Apple website. Creating this website and discovering how to make it modern yet user friendly was no easy task. To create this website they used “AB” testing just like we learn in class. Over the years they have had small changes like tweaks in the color scheme to added tabs. The sleekness of creative design is the face of the brand, and it portrays perfectly on their website. At the same time it is very easy to navigate, simple scroll over to open tabs to Iphone, Ipad, Macbook’s ETC. This simplicity appeals to all users as it has an emphasis on its Apple’s sleek and nimble appearance. This website does a fantastic job of keeping its simplicity and word choice easy to understand by all users. Today my grandfather was looking at the iphone 11 and we had no idea what the specs meant by reading on various websites. By going to apple’s page they have scroll down animation to demonstrate the features of the new product, while having concise verbiage in the margins. All in all I feel Apple’s website is a fantastic example of a website that knows its market and is designed appropriately.
