One of the more popular marketing strategies nowadays is social media marketing. Social Media Marketing is a form of Internet Marketing utilizing social networking sites as marketing tools. Which thereby gains traffic, brand exposure, and interactions with customers through social media. Then there is this thing called the Marketing Trifecta which is what I am going to be talking about today.
Paid Media

Paid media is generated through advertisements. Usually you would see these advertisements through banners, sponsored articles, TV, and radio. Paid media is an essential component of revenue growth and brand awareness for online businesses.
Earned Media

Earned media is technically free when it comes to spending money. Although, you do spend your time and energy to generate this form of media. This is exposure that you get from customers/consumer-generated content. Examples are PR and guest posts. As well as any unsolicited social media mentions online reviews and even retweets of your content.
Owned Media

Owned media is digital marketing channels that a company exercises complete control over. Examples are your website, fan page, and social media. These can be fully owned (website) or partially owned (Facebook fan page, Twitter(or known as X) account). Improving upon and leveraging owned media efforts often increases the effectiveness of paid media and earned media for online businesses.

The use of these three media can generate growth in a multitude of ways for a company.
