In my opinion, coding was by far the most interesting topic we discussed this semester in digital marketing. Coding is one thing that separates digital marketing from all other types of marketing, yet it is the foundation for successfully marketing online!
Often when people think of coding they think of this image shown above, and it is somewhat like that, but much easier to understand that this image depicts. Coding is the foundation for having a well developed digital marketing plan. Without coding there can be serious problems involving privacy, security, effectiveness, and much more with your digital marketing plan. Coding can also be fun!
I by no means no much at all about coding, but as stated in one of my previous blogs, coding can be fun and lead to “Pranking your Friends”. Coding allows for you to alter your website (and others for only you to see), and make it more effective, efficient, and overall a better website or advertisement. Coding can make or break your website, with good coding, your website can impress some of the greatest critics in the world, all by knowing how to code.
Lastly, by knowing how to code, you can make lots of money! According to indeed.com, in Virginia, you can make over $100,000 being a coder! Virginia is the number 1 state in the country to be a coder in based on salary. All in all, coding can be beneficial, fun, and make you rich!
