What are Smart goals?

SMART Goals are a set of criteria centered around facilitating goals that are achievable and obtainable. SMART Goals are necessary because when goals aren’t filtered through the lens of such clarity and realism, the vision gets muddy.

What does the Smart antonym stand for?

S: specific– goals must be particular and distinct, not broad.

M: measurable– goals must be quantifiable.

A: attainable– goals must be reasonable.

R: realistic– goals must be practicable and sensible.

T: timely–goals must have be time bound.

What are examples of Smart goals?

  1. a local small pizza joint sets a goal at the beginning of the year to climb onto the first page of google from the second under the keywords “best pizza near me” by September.
  2. a birria taco food truck owner sets a goal to reach 3,500 followers on instagram from the initial 2,950 in the next five months.
