Last week during class Dr. Liska discussed that people are more inclined to go and shop online if the weather was dark and gloomy out rather than all sunny and nice. This lead me to think about how do people tend to act when the weather isn’t looking the best. Studies show that when there’s bad weather it can lead to people being anxious and depressed, naturally making them spend more online.

It turns out that these companies keep track of the traffic flow on their websites and they cater their advertisements specifically toward viewers in areas that are rainy in order to have a higher uptick in sales.
