Coding Fun

When I was learning basic HTML, it was an extreme pain. However, by the end of the lesson, I realized just how valuable it is to know the basics of coding. Now that I am in Digital Marketing, it is clear that there is so much more to a website than just HTML. Using the different structures to build a website will give you the tools to have your website be appealing and easy to operate. The structure of a website is built through HTML. To add style to your website, CSS is the best thing for you to use. JavaScript will help your website have logic and improve operations.

There are also steps to building an effective website. The first step is find a host for your website. Secondly, you need to register your domain. Your domain is the name of the website. The fun part is next. You need to build your web page. Use some of the tools mentioned previously to make sure the website is easy to understand. Finally, add files to your web page. These files will allow others to access information on your domain.

  1. Hey Darcie,
You’ve got some great information and content, but I do have a suggestion. When going through multiple, numbered steps, try separating each step into its own little paragraph or make a numbered or bullet-pointed list.

  2. Darcie, I really liked how you included a gif in your blog it made it much more intriguing to read. The information that you included was great as well.

  3. Darcie, not to be harsh, but I love your post. It enrages me just how unenraging (is that a word?) it is. I just hate how you crafted such an informative but interesting to read post. You said you were in extreme pain working on HTML codes? Well I was in even more pain with how painless of a read your post was. Sorry, not sorry.

  4. The featured image was eye catching! I would recommend to use site builder for a better layout or maybe separating into paragraphs to make it more appealing.

  5. Love the GIF (that is why I clicked on the post) however i was kinda sad to see that there was not anything interesting inside, just two paragraphs that don’t even have headings. Good information though.

  6. Hi Darcie,

Love the gif! Made me very curious to see what else was in the blog! I love how you connected it with the actual content in the blog. Good blog!
