3+1 Model
3 Languages and 1 Language
3 Foundation Languages:
There are 3 different foundation languages that can be used when building a website. These foundation languages are important to know how to use to make your website functional and appealing to the eye.
- HTML5 – this language is used for the structure of the site
- CSS3 – this language is used to add style to the site
- Javascript – this language is used to make the site functional
Database Options:
Databases are important to the foundation of a website. Databases are used to store all the information that is relevant to the website, such as products that are being sold on the particular site. There are different options when choosing which program to use to build your database and website. Each of the programs all perform the same functions, however, what differs in them is how to use them and there could potentially be a learning curve when figuring out how to use the programs themselves.
- MySQL
- SQL Server
- XML
- Oracle
