The database is where all of the information from a website is stored. This is from the consumers end and the ones who collect all of the data from the website. This can include customer information (such as first name, last name, postal code, etc.), product information, item information, and invoice information. It is truly amazing how many different forms of information can be stored in just one database. The database can also be scary with how much information that you are unaware that it is collecting and storing.
