Why is SEO important?
Optimizing SEO will allow consumers to find your information on a topic or product easily. Search engines, such as Google, will rank a webpage higher if it is optimized. Google is constantly changing how they rank websites, and the tip I am about to provide may change in the future. With that being said, it is important for webpage owners to continue to read up and stay informed to have the highest success rate with Google.
- I would suggest choosing the correct key words. This will allow people to search a topic and your content will appear for that search even though it may not be the exact word they searched.
- Make sure the content is orginial and provides quality. This is extremely imporant for Google when it comes to ranking.
- Having a solid title is also an important aspect for SEO optimization. The title will be the first part of content shown on the webpage so make sure it is good.
- Make sure to shorten the URL. This will allow people to see exactly what content will be shown on the webpage. Using key words in the URl is a positive and should be done everytime.
- Generate backlinks to the webpage. Having the backlink shows Google that you have authority and that you provide qualitly content.
- Optimize the webpage for load times. This can be benaficial for mobile devices since most people search topics on thier phones rather than a computer.
- If you will have pictures on the webpage make sure they are optimized to provide the highest quality.
