What is myNoise?
This is a perfect example of UI designed for the user. myNoise is a website for ambient noise, excellent for meditation, studying, or simply relaxing. I use this website very often, and the organization, customization options, and accessibility features are all incredible. They have made a website designed with the user in mind – someone who is already stressed out and doesn’t want to deal with a frustrating UI.
It’s the little things.
Like Andes Chocolate Mints given away after a trip to Olive Garden, little touches go a long way. When you first open myNoise, you will be greeted by a crisp, clean experience; The website begins dark, and slowly shifts in hue like a sun rising and falling. Several people may never notice this touch, but small kisses like this are what make good websites great. Once users start to notice the love you put into something, they start sending love right back.
Why should you take inspiration from myNoise?
No matter what you are designing, it is important to consider who you want browsing your website. Many typically think the main goal of a website should be speed, but this is an example where that just isn’t the case. myNoise actually takes quite a while to load, but its users don’t mind waiting for its excellent features because the nature of the target audience is people who aren’t in a hurry. Website designers need to consider their users at every turn, sometimes in unexpected ways, to create environments perfect for them.
