Facebook one of the biggest tech companies recently rebranded and changed its name to Meta. Meta which brings together apps and different technologies under one new company brand instead of just “Facebook” which represents one app. Meta’s focus is to bring the “metaverse” to life and help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
I personally think this was a smart move because the company is so much more than just Facebook. This will now give them an opportunity to acquire other brands and companies that did not want to be assisted with the name Facebook.
