It provides a clear vision to the organization on how users or customers are behaving. Through digital analytics, companies obtain an insight into the areas where they need improvement.
With this being said digital analytics is an important factor when talking about how a business is run and how to show what is being done to improve customer satisfaction and thoughts about the company. Heatmapping is a great way to see what is being clicked on and looked at the longest, this is especially helpful when deciding what content on your page is needed and what isn’t. Along with this, another great way is dropoff maps that show how people are getting to your website and where they decided to end their search on their website. Putting the information together can be a great way to improve the overall website functionality and increase sales from online ordering. During a guest speaker, I attended he spoke about how using this information gathered to climb the ladder within his company and prove that what he is doing is working.
