I have always found web design to be extremely interesting to learn about. My mother would design websites for people as a part-time job and she taught me a few things about it when I was younger and even helped me to design my own website when I was about 10 years old. I even took a few graphic design classes in high school because I found web design to be very fun to me. Now that I am taking digital marketing I was very excited to learn more about web design when coming into this class. The things we have learned so far I have found very fascinating since I had never heard of them before in my previous graphic design classes. For instance, I had no idea about the difference between RGB vs. CMYK. Now that I have learned about that I am going to try and prioritize using red, green, blue when designing a website or other things for online, and use cyan, magenta, yellow, and black when I am making flyers or other things to print out. I also had never heard about the difference between Vector vs. Raster images. I am also going to take into account user experience (UX) when designing a website from now. I look forward to learning more about web design as we progress through digital marketing.
