I recently read an article on how companies are utilizing predictive analytics to connect with consumers in new and interesting ways. I found it very interesting, as it shows a new way in which technology is being used to find potential customers. In this blog I will discuss what predictive analytics are, and how they’re being utilized in marketing.
Predictive analytics is a form of data analytics that makes marketing predictions based on current and historical data. Predictive analytics is shaking up the world of marketing, as it allows companies to find consumers who are most likely to purchase their products automatically. Having software that can search through mass amounts of consumer data to find who is most likely to be a customer is extremely valuable, and is likely to drastically change the way that people handle online marketing. Currently there are large online marketplaces for different predictive analytics software, due to the high demand.
