1. Keep it alive, but don’t over do it!

Growing your business using social media is crucial in today’s day, whether its an established firm or a brand new starting off business. In order to increase brand awareness and generate sales, you have to grow your media followers, by doing so the first thing is to maintain active and keep your social media account alive. Many businesses will create an account then neglect utilizing it, there’s nothing more discouraging than searching for a brand and seeing their last posts was from 2017. However, you don’t want to over do it either, many business will post 3-5 times a day, this tends to flood the news feed when followers are scrolling. Additionally, people tend to lose interest in the message you are promoting when there’s too many posts, making the content seem less valuable. Consistency is key, in order to maintain a good balance of your posts, come up with a routine, or schedule for your posts, this will help you from forgetting to publish new content and stop you from bombarding your followers.


2. Be relevant!

Staying relevant to your target audience is important when it comes to social media marketing. Whether you have 100 or 100,000 followers, you have to be have a relevancy to what your promoting or the message you are trying to convey. When you’re publishing content that is relevant to your business, it drive further consumer actions. Such as more impressions, reaches and clicks, leading to more search engines results and increase in traffic. However, when necessary it’s important to incorporate current trends as well, as long as your followers can easily depict your message.


3. A man with a plan.

Every social media platform is unique and have different demographics. You might have some overall in followers but its important to understand how to tailor to your target audience.  Make sure you plan accordingly to that platform, and use strategy. This tend to have trial and error, especially when first starting off and getting your brand name out there. Having a strategy marketing plan lays out the appropriate actions to take for that social media platform. Its essential to come up with a focused message that you can then measure the effectiveness on that platform.
