Digital analytics is the process of analyzing data from websites, mobile applications, etc. It analyzes qualitative and quantitative information so that your company can be competitive. Digital analytics is important to a business because it helps the business better understand their customers so that they can market to them in a more effective way. It is also used to help businesses keep up with evolving marketing practices and to prove new marketing decisions work. Some metrics that are used for digital marketing are bounce rate, conversion rate, cost per click, and advertising cost.

 

Digital analytics  has a few guidelines so that the results you get are accurate and can be applied to all situations. You need to have a large enough sample size, test for a long enough time, use the correct attribution model for your service or product, and make sure to keep your results unbiased.
