Today social media has become the staple of entertainment. From sharing life moments, to getting major hobby ideas, to managing a business. Social media has many platforms and all are as versatile as the people using them. It is not a matter of “Will you use social media?” but “How will you use social media?” Don’t allow social media to be your demise.
Many, if not all, fall into the category of infinitive scrollers. The majority of ones day is spent scrolling through other people’s lives. This is not a permanent state, but it could be!
For others, social media is a means of inspiration. This moves us into the scrolling with a purpose category. Finding a good DIY, taking on a new hobby, or even watching enough Tik-Tok video in order to make your own. Getting the hang of social media isn’t always a fast process. This is due to it’s ever changing platforms.
Social media is also here to inform. Not just scrolling for the purpose of making something but also staying inthe know. As I have expressed, many of these measures were seen as the person being targeted by social media. Now, as the one targeting an audience it can be fun to look at other social media influencers to see what they are doing to capture their own audience. Figure out what makes you different and learn to market it through social media!
