In today’s blog I’m going t0 tell you guys the good and the bad of Florida Fishing Products website. The points I would like to touch on is their SEO, website design, and pop up ads.
My first point is their SEO. Florida Fishing Products (FFP) does a good job of marketing to the tampa bay area. Just about anything you type in that has to do with fishing, reels, or fishing products is going to pull them up on the first page. This I think is what caused their company to grow as much as it did in the first couple years.
The website design is something that I take pride in because I helped design it. On the opening page it shows a fishing image that would draw in any fisherman. The next thing is the dark design which is a reflection of their reels and how they are almost like you’re a night stalker.
My last point is the use of pop up ads. For both the desktop version and the mobile version there is a pop-up that appears close to 1 minute after being on the site. This is to encourage viewers to make a purchase with this discount. If they are doubting how they feel about the website this is kind of a push to make a purchase.
