This is because when you send in your application, more employers are starting to search for you on the web to make sure you’re a right fit for the position.  Here are some easy ways to make your social accounts more presentable:

  1. First glance
    • First thing someone sees when they look at your accounts is your picture, with that being said make sure to have either a semiprofessional or professional photo that shows a positive personality.
  2. Purge your profile
    • This can be done by taking time and looking through your profile to delete or hide any old “cringe worthy” posts that you wouldn’t want people seeing.
  3. Wide Range of Interest
    • When sharing certain content, make sure to share what is relevant and interesting to the company you’re working for. It will demonstrate genuine interest in your company.
  4. Keep a Positive Persona
    • It’s important to keep a positive persona when on social media this way your employer or future employer can see that you have a positive attitude to bring to the team! So any negative and grumpy posts will hurt you in the long run and should be taken down.

There are so many more steps and ways to clean up your platforms that will help you succeed in landing the position. So make sure to look through your different accounts (doesn’t take long) and clean up a bit! Cause when you clean up your social media, you clean your overall image!

Your blog was very clean and to the point. You made great use of white space and headings. I would recommend using a larger font size so it is a bit more easier to read and appealing to the eye.
