How you look + How you speak + How you act = Personal Brand!
In class, we learned how important the internet is and how it can make or break a career. Our professor Google searched two of my classmates to see what would pop up. This inspired me to thoroughly search myself on Google to ensure everything is appropriate. As a soon to be graduating senior, it is vital for me to make sure all of my social media profiles are cleaned up and ready for employers to do research. Apparently, my name is just that popular or I’m very secretive because typing “Zoe Pappas” resulted in no searches about me; I ended up searching “Zoe Pappas USF” and found a lot of results. Who’s excited to see the results? Drum roll please…I’m waiting…please drum roll…
After you Google Zoe Pappas...
Well, the show is over. I would like to give special shouts to my parents for raising me to not post inappropriate pictures on the internet, my classmates who actually read to the very end (I appreciate you), and Professor Liska for teaching me all about Digital Marketing. This class has been fun!
I think that it is so creative that you chose to google yourself for this topic!
Zoe,
as your excerpt says, I did enjoy a good laugh from your blog. Thank you for reminding us to watch what we post and invest in our personal brands!
Zoe, I really enjoyed reading this post, it was hilarious and relatable. I think everyone was tempted to Google themselves after that class haha. Personal brand is super important!
Hi Zoe!
Overall, I really enjoyed reading your post! You made of something really important very funny! and that helps to remember that we should really watch what we are posting out there! Loved the part where you say How you look+how you speak……=personal brand! I totally agree with this. I believe it is very important to keep a clean personal brand because that is what you are showing people about yourself. Great job!
I love the idea for this blog! It was so interesting seeing what popped up when you googled yourself
Zoe, I loved your blog! It is so original and creative! I love the idea of having yourself do research on yourself. It’s fun and scary at the same time since there are things on the Internet we didn’t even know was online! I liked how you emphasize how you are your own brand. You did an amazing job!
Nice blog Zoe, I like how you provided examples of the findings when you googled your name. After reading through yours, I immediately googled myself and deleted a few profiles that I used to have! Thank you for the reminder in keeping profiles clean lol!
I love this idea of searching yourself for this blog post. The internet can definitely be creepy when it comes to your personal information. Luckily for me, I have multiple names so I’m kind of hard to find 🙂
I love this, honestly might steal this idea for my post!! It’s so crazy the information that is out there about you that you had no idea was there! I’ll add you on LinkedIn!!
