One smart, creative fellow purchased hundreds of possible Washington Football team domain names and demanded a huge payout if they wanted to obtain them. This, this is why you register domains. Even though this man did not make any money since they chose to go in a different direction, Washington should have registered the domain names way prior to releasing to the public a name change.
