Fun fact. Beagles were originally tan colored and meant to be used as hunting dogs. Their tan color camouflaged themselves from their targets. It wasn’t until times when hunters couldn’t spot their dogs anymore that they then decided to breed Beagles the way we know them today- tan, white, and black.
