Tiktok is an app used mainly by generation Z which for many is used up to 3 hours a day. This site uses videos made by creators and is curated specifically for its users. This is a great way for brands to reach out to influencers on the site to post about their products and services. As a user of the app most of the time when I see a product promoted by an influencer that I like I will take it more into consideration than seeing a regularly posted ad. TikTok also allows for promoted ads by a brand that will pop up as soon as the app is opened. I think that more brands targeted towards younger people should use TikTok ads as an outlet to show the younger generation that they know them by using viral sounds and video ideas created by them. Some companies that do really well on TikTok are Duolingo and Lionsgate.
