Keywords are one of the most important things to your website because they help people find your products/services or whatever you are trying to present to the world. You want them to be able to find what you are providing easily and without any stress/anxiety. If your keywords are irrelevant to what you are trying to sell, people won’t find your website and will go to a different website.
Three Important Steps to have good keywords for people to find your website:
1)Keywords need to be relevant– For example, If I am trying to get people to go to my website and buy popcorn, some keys words may be Popcorn in Radford, Buttery Popcorn near Radford, or Kettle corn in Radford.
2)Keywords need to generate enough search traffic– You need to have Keywords that people will actually look up, so if you are just starting a website instead of putting just the companies name, you should have the product/service that people will search for, which will generate search traffic.
3)Keywords ideally have low competition– You don’t want high competition for your products/services you want to people to have to buy what you are providing, so good Keywords will help lower that.
