Effective Websites

There are a lot of big companies and small self starter businesses that are successful but aren’t reaching their greatest potential because they don’t have the most effective website. One goal for a website is for it to be ranked number one on Google.

You can either do this by paying for a higher rank or having a high value website. You should make sure that you use keywords effectively in your meta tags and also on your website. However, never over clutter your websites homepage, this is unattractive to the viewer and can be overwhelming. It’s important to keep your website nice, clean, and simple to navigate. Since your website will be easy to navigate, it will reduce your bounce rate percentage which ultimately helps your ranking. Your bounce rate will also be reduced because your website pages will load faster with less content. To make customers happy, you should also make sure your website is mobile friendly, it can be frustrating if it is not. Always remember these helpful tips when building your website.

  1. Hi Amber, thank you for sharing your blog about effective websites, it was a great read! You mentioned some vital tips that many businesses should take into account when building their website, such as having a website that is mobile-friendly. As a frequent online shopper, I appreciate a mobile-friendly website that is simple and easy to use and navigate. I would more than likely not make a purchase on a website that isn’t mobile-friendly.

  2. Great blog Amber. I found it very informative. Small businesses often don’t know where to begin when it comes to making a website and settle for something not great. The best way to lose business is by having a bad website.
