What are smart exactly? Well you come to the right place!

Smart goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely

Specific

This means that the goals needs to be simple and significant.

It should address: what needs to be accomplished, the importance of the goal, and the resources that is needed

Measurable

How can we track the progress of this goal? How do you know when you have achieved the goal?

Goals need to be measured somehow, can be through profits, quantity sold etc.

Attainable

This means that the goals needs to be realistic, something that is actually possible

Based on previous analytics and data is the goal achievable? If not make it more realistic!

Relavent

It is important to make sure the goal is relevant to needs and efforts of the company.

The goal needs to be worthwhile, and make a difference.

Timely

There needs to be a specific time that the goal will be achieved by.

Do we need 6 months or a year to achieve the goal? whens the due date that we expect to achieve it by?
